THE INVISALIGN TREATMENT PROCESS
YOUR FIRST CONSULTATION
During your initial consultation, we will assess your orthodontic needs and determine if Invisalign treatment is the best option for you.
YOUR CUSTOM TREATMENT PLAN
Using a scanner like the iTero® digital scanning system, we will create quick and accurate 3D images of your teeth. From there, we’ll develop a detailed treatment plan that outlines the specific movements of your teeth and the expected duration of your treatment. You'll also have the opportunity to see a preview of how your teeth will shift and get a glimpse of your future smile.
YOUR INVISALIGN CLEAR ALIGNERS
Your custom aligners will be crafted from Invisalign’s proprietary SmartTrack® material, making them virtually invisible so that most people won’t even realize you’re wearing them while straightening your teeth.
For optimal results, wear your Invisalign clear aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, removing them only to eat, brush, and floss.
YOUR PROGRESS
As you wear each set of aligners, your teeth will gradually and gently shift into their desired positions. We may suggest that you switch to a new set of aligners weekly and schedule checkups approximately every six weeks.
TAKING CARE OF YOUR NEW SMILE
Once your treatment is complete, ask us about a Vivera® retainer. These custom-made retainers utilize the same advanced technology as Invisalign clear aligners.
